Someday I will get up the nerve to try these. I love them.

They really are not hard to do as long as you like hand work. You can do some of the prep work on the machine. When I'm going to be traveling I get alot of the background sqs done on the machine and then cut the center sqs and put everything in a project tote and its ready for travel. I think awhile back someone on here posted a really good tutorial on it and it actually looked easier then the way I learned. Don't be afraid of it, it really is fun and easy and the end products are so pretty.

Hey Kim, congrats on the weight loss!

Now how do you pull up those white center insets to create the look Dena achieved on her's?

Love to know, just can't see it.

Hmm... Denas didn't have anything "pulled up" per sey..... It's just the look that is created by making each window. Also, different sizes achieve different looks. I would just suggest you try it and then you'll have a better understanding of how it works. It's what I did and once I did it all made sense.

Check this vid out Kim. What do you think about it? It's a just a few minutes long and very clearly explained. Does this result in what you've been talking about, given that there appears to be at least a couple of styles of Cathedral Window - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvXUvKIzYZY
