Hi all!!!!!! Looking for a 'take along' project. Tried the GFG's today, and they were 'ok'......
Then tried the Cathedral Squares. IN LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have to get a different base fabric though. This was just scraps, and WAY too thick.

That pattern is a great take along project. I keep one going to work on when I'm flying places.

I love this pattern. And it is great for take along. Yours is very nice. When I do it, I slip stitch the edge down. But I guess that's just a matter of choice.

Is that just basting or is it sewn down your way?

I just did it like that because the fabric was so thick. It was REALLY hard to go through. Lol. It was scrap fabric, and I think it was about a 6wt cotton. Lol
I actually haven't really looked into the stitches, I was more exploring the process.
