That's such a cute baby quilt. A quilt is a quilt is a quilt no matter what fabric is used. I love it!!!

That is so cute!!
Very nice baby quilt.
Like this, Good job
Love the fabric! Love the quilt! Giraffes are always a favorite.
It is not a cheater...it is a quilt made from preprinted fabric top! Cute quilt!
It is a whole cloth quilt.
Very nice job!
I don't care what you want to call it! It's so cute. It will be loved. It is called a quilt!!

I used this same flannel and made a baby blanket lined with another flannel. It's so soft. Good job on the quilting!
Who cares- it's adorable! :)
Very pretty. No fabric is a cheater anything.
Good use of the fabric. Lovely little quilt.
It is very cute!
There are times we we all need something easy to work on....these fit the bill perfectly. Your stipple quilting looks wonderful.
Whomever it is made for will love it!
Cute quilt!
The pre-printed fabric you used is just perfect for a baby quilt. I think that term 'cheater fabric 'needs to be retired! It used to be that such fabric was poorly printed on fabric that was not great. But, in today's fabric manufacturing the prints are digitally produced and are spectacular in detail and most often made on good quality fabric and are wonderful to work with.
Thank you everyone. I no longer feel like I cheated!
Love your baby quilt. It will be precious to the new babe!
It is still going to be loved and bring smiles to the face of the lucky one who gets it. No matter the 'work' put into a quilt, a person took the time to make it and give it to someone! (BTW - it is so cute!!)
And very sweet!!
Super cute baby quilt.
Will be loved and used!! That's what counts!! It's very cute!!
Nice baby quilt.
Super cute. I have at least one at home that I need to do. I bought it at a DIME event. It has the cheater quilt but came with embroidery quilt designs so that I can quilt it. Great job on this one.

I recently saw where a friend made a 'twister ruler' quilt using cheater fabric, it was real cute and no sewing all the squares together first.
Your panel is real cute as is! |
Don't you just love cheater fabric! It's not really cheating because it is a quilt. Years ago I purchased several panels at JoAnn's that looked like appliqued baby quilts. I gave one to one of my husbands friends. They treasure it. They think I appliqued it. I didn't think I would be invited to the baby shower and was so I didn't have time to make one. No one will ever know.

Not all quilts are meant to last forever and ever. It's the love and care that goes into one that make the quilt great.
Very sweet...
I also used this fabric to make a quilt for a friend. I used fleece on the back and they loved it. You did a super job. If the project does what it was intended for, then all's good. BrendaK

That is precious! Love it! I agree with all comments - making a quilt isn't cheating at all! Great job and baby will love it!
