I love Paned Expressions patterns. They sell these on CDs for what amounts to approximately 40 cents a pattern. The CDs have dozens of patterns on them.

You use the fusible 1/4" bias tape. So, you pattern has to be pretty large.
Not all of them are suitable for reproducing in fabric. For the very fine intricate pieces, a very skilled black satin stitch is in order. But, that's the rub. I'm not skilled in creating a solid, black satin stitch around curves. Of the ones I posted, probably only the balloon and the fish one are really doable. Maybe the blue heron. |
