I love Paned Expressions patterns. They sell these on CDs for what amounts to approximately 40 cents a pattern. The CDs have dozens of patterns on them.

Not all of them are suited for reproducing in a fabric panel, but some of them are.




This one is pretty cool.

Those are fabulous, and for all you people who would like stain glass patterns for free, just google it, I found lots to download!!

You use the fusible 1/4" bias tape. So, you pattern has to be pretty large.

Not all of them are suitable for reproducing in fabric. For the very fine intricate pieces, a very skilled black satin stitch is in order.

But, that's the rub. I'm not skilled in creating a solid, black satin stitch around curves.

Of the ones I posted, probably only the balloon and the fish one are really doable.

Maybe the blue heron.
