what a wonderful idea! I have a couple of panels I got in a stash of fabric and never thought I could use them in a quilt. Thanks for the inspiration! And beautiful quilt too!

Very nice!Love your idea to just make different size borders! Give me some ideas as to what to do with a patriotic panel and patriotic fabric I bought to make a quilt for my veteran bro-in-law who is very sick!

Each fabric was purchased in different quilt shops. I just collected them as I found them. I had the panel for a couple of years.

great colors, is it a line of fabrics?

I had the panel for a couple of years. Actually, the center of the panel had 3 chefs. I cut one out as per my dd's orders. I think the panel is still available on line. Look up Loralie Harris's website and you will see all her fabrics that are available. BTW, it was all one panel. I just cut it up and used it in different areas of the quilt and placemats.

Where did you get those panels? I'd love to get some for my work kitchen.
