Manquilter66 sent me this quilt for LAQ.
I loved the quilt from the moment I saw the picture. :) It's kind of a sampler which is always fun for me because I just take each block as it comes and dress it up. Matt gave me complete freedom to do what I wanted..his only request was that I didn't quilt "Cinderella princess' or high heels"...I tried to refrain from doing that as hard as it was..I think I came up with a compromise! 8-) I Love the finish on this...but I think the quilting is difficult to see in the photos.. This quilt has warm and natural batting and quilted everything freehand with a 26 INNOVA. Thanks for looking! Oh The border...In teh fabric there is a swilry vine...I just followed that fine and made feather plumes around it.....I thought it looked fabu! Another job of quilting well done! Of course, your quilting always looks fantastic! It must be so much fun doing those beautiful quilts you get from everyone, too. This one is a beauty. Always have to keep in mind that you have a second person on the team when we hand out the compliments.

Charismah, WOW, WOW, WOW! I sincerely thank you for all the beautiful work placed into this quilt! It is spectacular! Glad there are no Cinderella Princesses or high heels in there! LOL! I purchased the pattern and quilt kit for a class at my LQS. It is Chestnut and Vine by Marcus Brothers and available at multiple online sites (like HOP) as a kit and BOM. Can hardly wait to see it in person.
