Thanks Patti....I thought this block was cute. Plus, it was the first pattern I put my hands on, so decided to do this one. Wasn't too sure about the fabric I chose, but it came out cute, I think. :)

So, 1 down....dunno how many to go lol

Beachlady...I had some sent to me...Marcia is SUCH the enabler. I also found some (about 3 pieces) from Ben Franklins. I'll be hopefully finding some good prices on some fat quaters online. That's pretty much where I'll be getting most of mine from.

Try Bearpaw...or go to the fabshophop site and search for chickens...you'll find tons! I bought a couple of FQ packages at Bearpaw though..$13.50 ea. and the fabric is wonderful!..the service was really quick too!

I just knew that I loved that block!

So cute!!! Those patterns are addicting! I printed out so many of them that I wanted to do, but if had made them all, my quilt would have been big enough to cover the house!!!! So I am seeing another chicken quilt or two just so I can make all the patterns!!! :D

Its supposed to rain tomorrow, so I think I'll try to start my chicken quilt then. I was thinking that I might change the chicken star around and make the chicken hold a can of corn instead...do you think that will look OK? I'm definetly going to make the Mother Hen!

I might make a pieced chicken first though...hmmmm...I need to pick through my fabrics first... The problem is that I like them ALL!
