This is a very special quilt for my first grandchild, all the letters have a fabric that starts with that letter, A has acorn fabric etc... It took months and traveling from Denver to South Carolina to visit my children to find it all. That is except for the X, yes I know alot of you are thinking x-ray fabric. But I couldn't find it anywhere, even on line. Then I had an epiphany I used her ultra-sound and transfered it to fabric. Look closely, each leg of the letter is a different body part, her profile, leg, her little skull, and spine. The red between the border is a strip of chennille. and I added buttons, on representing each letter, Still looking for a few of them!!
