I have looked for toy machines for years and I don't think I've ever come across one at yard sales, thrift stores, antique malls. There are a couple that my sewing shoppes keep on display though.

look in antique malls, hidden in glass cases.

I have one of the Necchis from my childhood. It came in a little carrying case with some patterns, fabric and a doll to dress. Now it decorates my sewing room. I always tell people don't get these machines for children. They are unreliable as far as sewing goes and will frustrate the child. I still love sewing and quilting in spite of having one as a child. LOL

I have 5 old ones in my collection. I love them and they live in my sewing room. I have a good friend that doesn't sew a stitch and she says my sewing room is her favorite room in my house. Makes me laugh because it is always a mess while the rest is much neater.

The last thing I need is something else to collect but I always said if I saw one in person I would probably buy it. Your a lucky girl!

What a great collection. Do you shop regularly in several places? Just wonder where and when you come upon them...

Toy machines are like potato chips, you can't have just one. I have found them in dusty antique stores. The dusted ones usually have them in the glass cases. My best one was on a bottom shelf in the corner in a vendor mall. Thanks for showing your machines.

They are just way to cute.
