I have a friend that recently had her first daughter, so I wanted to make something that would grow with her. She doesn't like pinks, so I went with a jelly roll with oranges, blues, and browns. It was fun and quick, and gave me more binding practice.

That turned out really pretty. :)

Love this design ... Chinese Coins. Have used it several times with
solid colors, and black (sort of Amish), and in de-stashing little strips
with white for mini-quilts/wallhangings. Looks great with Batiks and black, too.

Very pretty, I am going to do one for my niece. I havent cut it yet but was wondering how big your was and are the coins cut in 5 x 2 1/2 , how wide did you cut your shashing and boarders ?? What was the finished size you ended up with. I am on the fence about how large I want to make it.
