I have the strips sewn together and borders added. This will be put away with the others until I have the money to purchase batting. So in the mean time I will continue to make quilt tops for Tymeless Hearts. I'm trying to get as many done as possible. It would be neat to get 30 or more done before June 25th. I think I can do it as long as I stick to simple patterns.
This 1 is 39in. X 56in. That will probably change when it is squared off.
I know the borders a unsual but I like them.
Thank you for looking! :-D

I think your quilt is wonderful. Now why do I have a craving for chocolates???? :)
The borders are great, I love the variety they add. I might have to think about that in one of my future quilts.

I am new to this board, well not really been watching all you talented sewers for months. But when I seen your posting for the charity quilts I wondered if you have ever heard of buying used quilted bumper pads for the batting. They are rarely used and most of them have enough batting for a toddelr quilt if not more. I buy them at goodwill any second hand store and most of the time they are new. Anyways hello form roanoke indiana originally from kalamazoo michigan. Marilyn

Mariposa 01-05-2011 01:14 PM

redquilter 01-05-2011 03:09 PM

I love the polka dots and the colors. Have to tell you - in the first picture with the borders I didn't like them, but in the next picture where the quilt was hanging up I just loved them. I guess it was the angle in the first. It's a fantastic quilt.
