Christmas Bells completed-thanks for thread selection help!

I posted with question regarding thread color for quilting. I usually use a color that blends into the fabric color, but this piece required something different. I used a khaki green Aurifil 40wt-first time to use 40wt, and I love it! :)

That is really pretty! The thread pulled a chameleon and appears to blend with every color on the quilt. I too like quilting with a 40 wt thread.

Pattern is Merry Medley by Sandy Gervais, and the panel and border fabric is from a Moda line with th same name-Merry Medley. I believe it is discontinued. I had to adjust my border width as I didn't have enough fabric! Mine finished at 50"x50"..,.original is 56x56. |
