Christmas Cardinals Hexagon Stack and Whack Finished

4 Attachment(s)
It's been a while since I posted a finished quilt. I have been making tons of tops, just not finishing! It's time.

This one was made for my charity group, as we are all making Christmas quilts this year to be given out to long-term hospital patients who will be hospitalized over Christmas. Couldn't think of a better use for my Christmas fabrics! :)

I have a bolt of that fabric. You've given me a great motivation to cut it up.

Gorgeous quilt and made for such a wonderful, caring purpose. Bless you and your group for taking this on. The quilts are sure to bring a smile even to those who are not feeling very cheerful at the moment. Love those Stack n' Whack quilts. Don't think I have ever seen one I did not like.

This is the fabric. I think I bought it at either JoAnn's or Walmart, about a year ago. It's more "winter" than "Christmas".

I think the 4 patch S&Ws are a great place to start and they look wonderful, too. Just remember to put the same corner of the block towards the center when sewing them together.

Hope you can read this selvedge....
