Thank you, everyone, for all the compliments. It is paper pieced, and I sewed it on the machine - not by hand.
If you can paper piece, it's not difficult to make a miniature quilt. I hope those of you who like it, will give it a try. You'll be surprised how quickly it goes together. |
I have an old book of miniture quilts I think before paper piecing was popular, none of the quilts is nearly as nice as yours.

Great Job! I would love to have the pattern! I have made several mini's, I have actually mastered the 1/8" hectagon for my mini grandmother's flower garden. I have recently purchased about five books on mini's and have done alot of research on the net and have come up with a few from there also. I recently made a 1 1/2" finished friendship star block for projects that are being put together for our Ole Fashion Quilter's Tea on the 19th of this month. So once again I would love to have the beautiful pattern. It is terrific!

That minature quilt is great. I have never tried paper piecing, but that quilt makes me want to try. Great job.

Such detail!! I would have probably been able to put my finger on the quilt unattached of course! Would probably have cut if off just trying to cut such small pieces Great Job!!! cheryl

Just Beautiful....I tried joining a miniature swap but couldn't get the hang of it. I still think the directions were wrong, so I've never tried another miniature quilt/block.
