You are very talented. The quilt looks so sophisticated --- I'm thinking simple quilting would be what it needs; not a lot of heavy or complicated design. Dress is lovely.

Love your quilt, glad to share this holly stencil with you. I used it on my xmas tree skirt. It worked up real easy, I just did a random placement, with some meandering to connect the pattern. I also used a red metallic, which really showed up nicely.
Love the dress, we're expecting another grandchild this April, sure hope it's a girl to sew for! Good luck! |
visually unified, attractive and unusual

Absolutely beautiful. Great Job. Fabrics go wonderfully together. I can't even imagine making a quilt and not having to tear something out. What a feat for you !!!!
|
I love your choices of fabric and congratulate you for the job well done....and no ripping?! I like to sew for my four granddaughters also, and just reminded myself that I better get started on their Christmas dresses. Have a purple lap quilt w/embroidery to finish for a cousin who was just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
|
WOW! You are talented! Love - Love - Love your Christmas quilt!!
It would sure look awesome at my house! and that dress is sooooo Cute!! The only article of clothing I ever attempted was a blouse back in Home-Ec class in 7th grade.....disaster! [I got a "C+" on it!! ] :o I did get an "A-" on the apron we made  |
