Ohhh I love them.

Where did you get the pattern for the table runner (blue and white ornaments)?

I would love to make that for my daughter (except in pink & white).

You did a fantastic job.

I would also love the source for the star pattern. You did a great job and love the material.

Love the candle mats and your ornament quilt is adorable. You could always use it as a quilt on your bed just for the holiday season or draped over the back of a sofa. I really like them both.

I love the stars and the quilt is amazing!! I'm sure you'll find a use/home for your quilt when it's done! It's too pretty to just put away!

oh- I never just put them away---I find them homes- just not my home- I on occasion make a quilt specifically for us- but this is not one of them- it will go somewhere when it's done. as for the pattern----it came out of a Christmas project book or magazine last year- this is a UFO- I started it last year- made all the blocks- put together one row- then other things took precedence & this was set aside- ran across it last week & decided to get it back out & try to get it done this year...so I can have the scraps for something else :) I do not remember which magazine it was in- (or book) if I come across it I will come back & share the info.

ckcowl 11-26-2013 02:47 AM

finally located the book that the *Christmas ornament* quilt is from- it is a 'Leisure Arts' book called "QUILTING FOR CHRISTMAS" published last year (2012)....I think I bought it at Joanns last year---but for anyone wanting it---NANCY'S NOTIONS catalog has it right now on sale for $15.95....i'm starting to think i'm not going to get that one done for this year either---lots of things have happened in the past week---and I have a couple projects I have deadlines for---so, this one will probably go back into the closet---maybe next year. :( ... funny how time speeds up sometimes.
