i know from other guild members that the teachers are waaaay expensive.
my friends also don't know exactly what happens to the rest of the money that gets taken in. the account seems to perpetuate itself. does the guild provide a yearly balance sheet or something? i'm sure it costs something to rent the space for the meetings and the shows. |
That's really clever to make a runner with just those 4 little squares of fabric! They go well with the other fabrics too. Lucky reciepant who ever gets it!
Great job! |

Great job of turning your square into a beautiful tablerunner.

what size is the finished runner? it looks pretty long from the photo. you sure got your 6" worth!

Great table runner. They didn't give you much to work with, but you made the best of it and your table runner is wonderful.

Finished runner is 17x48 -- it turned out to be a really odd size  I figured if no one liked it at the Guild, I'd pick it when it was my turn. I know it will fit my table nicely....

WOW  ... you really DID get your 6" worth. i doubt if anybody else did that well

Boy, challenge is right    I think you not only met, but surpassed the challenge. Great job and wonderful creativity on using that measley 6" block. Love the table runner. Thanks for sharing the pictures. I love that you used the zig zag stich for the quilting. It looks really great.
