This was a fun project to do. But I would love your opinion on what color to use for the binding.

DebsShelties 10-23-2011 04:53 AM

I would do red or green

ontheriver 10-23-2011 04:54 AM

I think either the red or green.

#1piecemaker 10-23-2011 04:55 AM

I'd go with green. Your quilt is beautiful!

mary quite contrary 10-23-2011 04:56 AM

Green. It needs a frame. Red would be my second choice.

dakotamaid 10-23-2011 04:56 AM

I think the green needs to come out to the edge somewhere so I vote green.

PABerard 10-23-2011 04:57 AM

It's very pretty! I would go with green ~ Pat

Denise S 10-23-2011 04:58 AM

bigsister63 10-23-2011 05:02 AM

Green border. Also you could put some christmas embelishments on tree just for fun

sparkys_mom 10-23-2011 05:03 AM

It looks like a fun project. Is there a pattern? Definitely red or green - it needs a frame. Very pretty!

BarbO 10-23-2011 05:07 AM

I would pick green

mltquilt 10-23-2011 05:09 AM

I only changed it by piecing it with 4 1/2" squares and centering a make sift star.

I think red would bring out the cheerfullness, and green would make it more country. Both would be great choices.

SueDor 10-23-2011 05:11 AM

I like the red!

ardnas 10-23-2011 05:12 AM

I agree - but I do favor the red

quiltinghere 10-23-2011 05:53 AM

I vote red - so it makes a frame with the other red strip around the tree. Putting the green would be ok ... but me? I'd do the red. Then again it's YOUR quilt...these are just our opinions.

Let us know what you pick...we'll be waiting :)

Gatormom3 10-23-2011 05:54 AM

Love your quilt and especially love the gold fabrics in your border - gorgeous!! Binding - either green or gold would be my choice.
