"Deck-ade the Halls" free quilt pattern from Fat Quarter Shop. My quilt group all made this quilt
this year. I gifted mine to my special friend. Marilyn |
Nice! Was going to say it looks like a lot of paper piecing but then I went to Fat Quarter Shop's instructions and saw that they're pieced! Turned out great!! You could embroider little faces on your gingerbread men when you're finished too!
|
I love it!

I like the idea of putting faces on the ginger men, and it is a really nice Christmas quilt.
|
I wish I could do so intricate piecing because I would love to do something like this. It would be a real Christmas heirloom. Thanks for sharing

Oh I love how tour's turned out, I have just thr mugs to make and just can't seem to push myself to finish it. I have to say since my knee surgery I just have been so down, my left knee is bone to bone and needs to be replaced as well, I want to sew and that's why I had joined the mug rug swap as I knew I had to complete it. Thanks for sharing your quilt, makes me want to do mine.

15 people in my quilt guild did this quilt as a BOM and 12 were finished by December. Some others did only parts of the quilt as table runners or toppers. Two people did two quilts each-one to keep and one to gift.

Many have asked how to find the pattern for the quilt top I posted. So here is a picture of my
completed quilt & the link to find it. Once on the website, it is under "free patterns" & it is Shown in the 8th row down. Hope this helps. The even have a video to help you make each Block. |
