I just finished another spiral table runner. I made it for my cousin, but got enough fabric for one for myself. Can't wait to get started on it.

Closer shot of the fabric.

You also need a 9 degree or a 10 degree wedge ruler. I used a 10 degree ruler.

Very, very pretty. I'm doing them too. Aren't they fun?

LoisN 11-24-2010 08:38 PM

They are SOOOOO much fun and quick too. I'm interested in creating smaller projects right now instead of huge quilts. I guess I'm in need of more immediate gratification. haha

Ditter43 11-24-2010 08:39 PM

That looks great! I still haven't gotten mine made! I am experimenting with a Christmas tree skirt using that ruler.
I'm glad you will be able to make one for yourself! :D

LoisN 11-24-2010 08:40 PM

I want to make a Christmas tree skirt too. Let me know how yours turns out.

All of these spiral toppers are just beautiful and one day I am just going to have to bite the bullet, an buy a pattern then make one for myself. In the mean time I have way too much on my to do list so.

Gorgeous.

Maybe1day

ScrappyKathy 11-25-2010 03:53 PM

Love it! I've made several tree skirts with the ruler. This is a new challenge and I feel the need to make one asap. Just wish I didnt' have to wait for the pattern to get here.
