Beautiful as either!!! Good Job :D :D :D
|
I'd say, make it into a table cloth!! Then you could even put a sleeve on the back so if you want to hang it for next year, you're all ready and then the year after that you could use it as a lap quilt!..
|
You've done some interesting piecing in your strips. I like. Makes it more interesting. Nice job.
|
What great inspiration!
I just can't wait to make one these "tube" quilts. I love yours. (too many projects, too little time......lol) Joan |

since you have such a good eye for this, why not keep this one as a topper/wallhanging and make a bedquilt out of year-round colors? one of each.
|
So pretty I just love it! I just have to try one of those tube quilts soon. Love the idea of using it for something different every year. Table cover, wall hanging, lap quilt .....then send to me :D

Thank you everyone for your kind words... I am still undecided on how I am going to use it, but will post a final picture when that happens,,

that is really a beautiful quilt top...I am really excited about trying that tube method...yours is wonderful......was it your sriped material that was put on the top?
|
I was the red material that was put on top as my widest strip . I just love the way the block turned out. :D
I am still working on the quilt, I need a solid green and gee I do not have any.... mmm must mean a trip to the store... hehehe |
Hi ...If you have a Joanne's Fabrics close to you....they have some of the prettiest fat quarters ...I have a couple of greens that would be perfect for you...unless the fat quarters aren't long enough to make the tube.
