Chunky Churndash-FMQ finish!

I completed this quilt top a few months ago. It stayed that way until last night when I bought the backing. Starting around midnight I basted the quilt. Then to the machine for quilting! All of the quilts I have done up until now have been SITD. I spent some time yesterday practicing a hooks/swirls motif and decided to use that.
This will be gifted to one of my godsons. |
I like it.

Very nice stitching. Love your color choice too

Kudos to you, you are living proof that one can quilt and quilt very well on a DSM with a small throat area. Great job!

Your Godson will love that quilt! I love the pattern, choice of fabric, and you did such a great job on the quilting! I'm amazed you can do so much work late at night...I would have to do it all over in the morning if I tried that!

I work overnights. So on my "days" off, I am usually up at night and asleep during the day. Quilting is a great hobby for 3rd shifters. Keeps me busy while the other half is sleeping! |
Lovely quilt

Great fabric and wonderful FMQ with that small throat on the DSM. I have that same machine and I can't manage the bulk of the quilt in it. You did a great job.
