Had to chuckle. I have some of that kitty fabric. And I'm a dog person!
:)

Waste not, want not philosophy has produced lovely blocks. Good for you.

Wow! I've got a box of pressed dryer sheets and I have a box of small pieces as well. I have planned to do the same thing. Won't the material ravel ? I have to say yours look great.

Looks like fun and I love the cats peeking out from your scraps.

I am going to blanket stitch all the seams, so it wont fray and on top of that I will quilt it also. Now here is a work up of how I do it. Someone as me how,

First, I sew two dryer sheets together for a larger block. then I just lay any two pieces down, laying one piece 1/4 over the other piece. I sew that seam 1/4 away edge. then I add another piece, same way etc etc. I will get better at this. I would lay an oval down and cut it to conform to the piece under it or I would just shove the next piece under what is there already and sew. As I do it I get better lol. Here are a few pics of the steps. 1 and 2 and 3...the finished block and then the cut finished block. Here is another block I finished yesterday with a big kitty.

I also have only dogs but love the kitties in quilts. Start at the bottom, for some reason it put the first pic last. the pics are all out of order but I think you can tell where I started and ended.

Kool. I am doing something like that I an using "used color catchers" as a foundation. Doesn't look as pretty as yours. OH well. BrendaK
