What treasures!

What great finds. My brother has a quilt our Grandmother made from cordurory burgundy and green squares. Our aunt who worked in a shirt manufacturing plant would bring home fabric samples and there was enough of these to make a quilt.

Treasures!

What a great find in your storage bins. I love them all. Treasure them always. I HAD, and I repeat had one quilt from my granny made for me. Lets just say simply it is gone. It was made for me for my graduation present. Had it in my parents house....dad borrowed it and put it in his hunting camper.......with a bunch of men, never to be seen again. I had to let it go, but as you see it still bothers me, that some people think so little of such hard work. It saddens me to think about it, but I am so joyful of your find. Congratulations.

More like a treasure box. Nice!

Wow!

I'm going to have to clean out something to see if I can find something as delightful as what you found.

I have one like the second quilt, the one made from men's wool suits. My grandma or mom made it, I do know it is old. In fact I have two shoe boxes of cut ones waiting to be put together. Some day. Thank you for sharing.
