I would certainly appreciate the EQ7 pattern. I have been following your posts and your blog. I must say I am very impressed with your work. I rec'd EQ7 from my daughter for Christmas. I previously had EQ5 and EQ3, but never took enough time to learn beyond the basics. I swear this time I'm going to give it more attention. I love the blue mariner's compass you showed a short time back. I would love to know how you were able to create that on in EQ7. Have you done more in completing that one?
Thank you in advance for the EQ pattern and also for being such an inspiration. Ann |
Very pretty design! Love it

You are definetively great at designing. Love the design. I will PM you to see if by having yor design uploaded helps me figureing out the program.
Cannot wait to see in fabric. Well, wait 11 more months- I guess. |
You do such great work!!

I have EQ but only 1-3, I think, I never kept up with the updates, I guess I should, but I was afraid I wouldn't use it, your designs are beautiful.

I would love the eq7 pattern..email is [email protected]

From what I read here, EQ7 files can be opened in EQ5. This is about Town & Country but I assume that it would be the same with any other file.

Love what you have designed.
I have almost finished my church block and would love the EQ file. Will PM you. |
Pitsburgpam, sorry if I sound stupid, but I really like the idea of houses for a BOM. I haven't started on my January block yet, but is your finished one in the picture 12"? It looks much smaller than the rest or are the rest bigger than 12"? Thanks for showing us the finished product.
|
Please send the EQ7 file.

My church block came out a little smaller than the 10" finished size of the posted paper piecing pattern. We were to add onto it to make it 12". Don't ask me why it was small, I checked the 1" mark on my second block before starting and it was correct.
All of the house blocks I used in the design are 12". It is not the REAL blocks that will be posted for the BOM since I do not know what they will be each month. |
What a wonderful layout. I hope I will be able to access it. I don't have the EQ program.

Everything is based on 3", 6", 9", 12", etc. and I've tried to keep in mind ease of piecing sections together, I don't think it will be too hard. I can probably do a pattern just of the extra parts and export it to PDF. That will take quite awhile because I need to print each block to PDF but it's do-able. |
Oh, you've made me decide to stick with this. I had almost decided not to do this but this quilt is beautiful.
My friend has EQ6, is EQ7 compatible? I'd love to have this quilt. I joined a thimbleberries BOM back in 2007 but I had to have surgery and never got the last 'kit' and wondered what I'd do with all the fabric. Then hubby had a stroke in 2008. I'm just now getting back into quilting. Thanks for sharing!!! Peggy in dreary, rainy Florida |
Wow...stunning.

Pittsburgpam that is a great Idea and I know it will be beautiful when it is finished.

What does EQ stand for?
|
EQ stands for Electric Quilt, currently version 7. It's a software program for designing quilts and blocks.
When I get home I'll send out the files to those who requested it. |
Please send to me. Thank you very much. It's just wonderful.
