This is Bonnie Hunter's mystery quilt that Was quilted by #1 piecemaker. I made the bias binding and cut the scallops and got it all sew on. As I have told many, had I seen the finish first, I would have said, I can't make that, but with one step at a time, anything is possible. Thank you Bonnie!

That is a beautiful quilt. So many pieces, and lots of pretty quilting too.

The fabric you selected makes this quilt a Masterpiece. I am sure if Bonnie sees it, she will be very proud of this lovely quilt you made from her pattern.

Beautiful and well done!

I love this quilt! One of the things that I enjoy about it is that there is a slight variation in the colors of red. I think that's a technique I'll try in a quilt.

It was on Bonnie Hunter's website Quiltville, but I think I read that it has been taken down and is now in a book.

Bonnie has the single pattern for sale on her website. You might want to check out her free patterns while you're there. She's been very generous in sharing some great designs.

Congratulations! Great job! It's stunning.

Snooze2978 02-29-2016 09:58 AM

I'm still working on mine but I love how you used the same gold from the sashing/border on the binding. Really sets the black border off. Wish you could show us how you quilted it as I'm still pondering over what to do on mine when the time comes. I don't plan on doing the scallop border though it is very nice looking. Thought about using red for the large border but after seeing yours with the black border I may have to change my mind on that. Stunning!!!!!1

It's not as hard as it looks if you take it one step at a time as outlined by Bonnie.
