Thank-you, everyone, for your comments! I really appreciate them.

I was a bit nervous posting the pics because it is the first quilt I've posted on this site. Also, I'm still learning and I'm my toughest critic. I agonize over everything from fabric design, to color, to placement, etc.

My self challenge is to use current stash as much as possible and only purchase fabric when absolutely needed (Fingers crossed).

Where? Where can I find the pattern?

Hi,

The pattern is called "French Roses"

I purchased the pattern at a local quilt shop in Idaho.

The pattern includes contact information for the designer:
Phone: 702-236-8666
email: [email protected]

I have seen the pattern in other LQS in other states (I travel every week for work).

grannypat7925 02-17-2011 09:29 AM

Lovely quilt!

zoey 02-17-2011 09:38 AM

Thanks for the additional close up pictures of the quilting you did on your roses. I want to start mine like right now but have a few other projects I have to finish up or they will become one of those ufo's I try hard to avoid having and still manage to end up with a few anyway.

Vintage Bicycle 02-17-2011 09:45 AM

Becca Bear 02-17-2011 07:30 PM

Beautiful quilt. I have this pattern. It came with a kit and the fabrics are shades of pink. I love the mixing of the blues in your quilt. It is very pretty.

That's my husbands plan for me too.

tdgiffin 02-18-2011 04:52 AM

Nice work!

moonrise 02-18-2011 04:55 AM

Now that's neat! Kind of like rag quilting, but with flowers instead of the blocks themselves being frayed.

Yet another quilt to add to my "to do" list!

JeanDal 02-21-2011 07:10 AM

I agree with your hubby.

tebill 03-18-2011 11:31 AM

I finally am ready to start this quilt! Yours is so beautiful! Did you enlarge the flower patterns for this larger quilt? My pattern is for a crib sized quilt and the roses look much smaller than yours. Thank you!

sjscribe 03-18-2011 11:40 AM

Hi

Thank you. :)

I didn't enlarge it; I'm sure there wouldn't be any problems if you enlarge your pattern. if it helps my blocks are 10 inches
