Ahhhh...how cute...the baby is precious and I think he loves his cuddly quilt! I know I do! Did you use batting along with that soft, cuddly backing?

I did use a layer of warm and natural. What I did was instead of quilting all three layers together I just quilted the top to the batting. and then I washed in hot and dried on high to make sure that there would be no further shirnking. Then I layed the quilted top on the backing and pinned really well, then I basted the edges then added the binding like normal. After seeing how well the basting stitches got "lost" in the backing I think it could easily be quilted without the quilting being noticed on the back. Its warm but I don't think its to much.

How can anyone NOT love this pattern? I love that they are so easy to put together and I even made this one the HST method. I don't mind making them and I bought the fabric to make it that way so I went with it. All three of my kids fell in love with this quilt (mainly for the backing) I think they are all getting one for their birthday this year. I think I am going to try the no triangle way for those!
