Put the solid pattern blocks together and you will have kind of an eight point star. That might be nice if you make 4 of each pattern.

If your tense while trying to FMQ a friend of mine suggested listening to music.. I usually listen to country but it wasn't fast enough. I tried music with a faster pace and I just sewed along with the music on my last project. I does help.

That baby quilt is adorable! Great job. Your tulips are really cute. I'd just sew them together and put a green border so it looks like a flower garden.

Once you can doodle comfortably try a practice piece of quilting so you can transfer the movements you have learned to the quilt! You CAN do it!!!
