Thanks everyone so much! Sure appreciate that!! You know taking a pic in the direct sunlight is not too good so I have a better one now that I just took indoors so you can see it better. It came together so nice and all sunlight distorted the secondary pastel blocks. Hope this is better! :-D
I put this together focusing on the secondary patterns and this inside pic does justice

Looks great! I'll have to remember this one since I've got several quilts on my list that will leave me a bunch of leftover HSTs.

I don't know if there is a name for this pattern but I found the Courthouse Steps nice but boring so I beefed it up. I have what seems like a thousand HST's collected over the yrs. of sewing leftover from projects so this is one of a few quilts I am using them up in. I got the idea thinking about a quilt I had seen yrs. ago by Bonnie Hunter where she added HST's at the end of each braid. Well, I thought the same thing would work great at the end of any type block with logs like log cabins, courthouse steps, rail fence, etc. It truly was a great way to use a dozen HST's in each block, but I still have hundreds left over! Thank you, mzmama!! :-D :-D :-D
