Hi - I just finished piecing this huge Courthouse Steps quilt. It measures 115" square - what was I thinking?!!
It will get sent out for quilting and I or the quilter will post pics when the quilting is finished. Mitering the corners was tough - the strips are 3/4" thick and they stretch!! It is done in batiks I brought back from Bali. When I was in high school, purple was my FAVORITE color and I wore purple to school every day - yeah, weird.... Anyway, I'm happy with how it turned out - just sharing with all of you!! |

It is a glorious quilt. Purple is the color of healing of the spirit. It is far more calming than blue. It reminds me of joy. Thanks for sharing.

LOVE this quilt... LOVE LOVE LOVE this quilt!!! Thank you so much for sharing... I have the pattern to make a quilt like this... found it in a quilt magazine several years ago... I occasionally pull it out and look at the pattern, but it intimidates me...
