I don't pre-wash but I do make a care label, asking them to wash in cold water...and yes, I used wide flannel backing, and used ultra lite batting...still makes a heavy winter quilt. Previous projects have all washed well.

I did find it, but wanted to know the size of the actual flowers on the pattern. Superior Thread has about 6 yds! Thanks for reply!

Nice quilt. Glad to see someone besides me still tacks instead of quilting. I prefer puffy quilts.
