Your projects look great! And you're right -- you can never predict what people will and won't buy. If they don't pick up some of your work, they are really missing out.

I can picture your twisted star as the center of a baby quilt or a lap robe. It would really be great for a wheelchair lap quilt.

I think they are all nice but I do have a question are some of them done using what someone said is called a mock binding sew together trun inside out and then run around again with a 1/4 seam?

MelissaK 08-13-2008 05:06 PM

Yes, I use that method for my baby bibs, table runners and pot holders. it is much easier than doing bindings on everything.

They're all very pretty, wish I could come to the fair!

Some have the real binding, but most do not. I don't like to do binding. I sew together and turn inside out and put a quarter inch (invisible thread) seam on it.

Thanks all. Those are last year's stuff. We're making new stuff this year.

I really like those table toppers! they are gorgeous!

Did you use the same pattern as Riversong? She's been making some beautiful toppers also.

Your twisting star table toppers are awesome! For the life of me, I cannot figure out how those seams around the center all come together. Could you point me in the direction of the instructions for doing so? Thanks, June
