3 Attachment(s)
1, 723 pieces altogether (not including the backing and binding). 40 different pieces of fabric. I used foundation paper on this quilt, so it was so easy-peasy to cut, sew and move onto the next block.

WHEW!!! LOL! It took about three months (stopping and starting, going for stretches at a time without touching my machine) and the top is ready for quilting. I decided to add an extra row on the bottom. So, now it's an 80" x 85" quilt. I need to stitch up the backing and sew-up my binding, and it'll be ready for quilting on the long-arm. I am keeping this quilt. My husband likes it a lot, so we are keeping it. I want to make a similar one (baby quilt size) using pastels. My brother and sister-in-law are expecting a baby in August, and they don't know what the gender is. So, I figured a quilt like this with a lot of different fabrics would be suitable for a baby regardless of gender.
