i think you put your finger on it-----that's what i absolutely HATE about it!!!!! it's just not a smooth flow & the worst part is i have leftover blocks!!!!!!!! i'm disappointed to say the least. the tute made it look so pretty!!!!!

I understand what you aren't liking about this quilt.
Might I suggest that you try again, but with fewer colors, or more ordered blocks ... In a quilt, such as this one - - one of the things that will attract people to it has to do with the textures and different fabrics, not so much the overall appearance. Having said that, now tell me what you thought was so attractive in the sample ... I only ask because I struggle with this sort of thing, too! My control issues dictate that I FIGHT to make everything chaotic <g>, and then I don't like it ... somewhere, there is a happy medium - - maybe together, we can find it, eh? <wave> |
