I think you've just looked at it too long. Fold it up, walk away. Bring it out in a month, step back and enjoy. You'll see what I do - it's wonderful.

I think it is beautiful!!! It just needs a couple of borders and I bet you will love it too!!! If not, there are many of us who would give it a good home :wink: :D:D:D

i LOVE it. Those are my favorite kinds of quilts. Everytime you look, you see another thing you never saw before. If you ever want to sell the top, let me know!

I don't normally like scrappy but this one is beautiful! Do like everyone else says, put it away for a while and look at it with new eyes. :thumbup:

You have a great quilt there, but if you really don't want to look at it ship it up to Canada I would love to quilt it for you I think once it is quilted you too will think that it is gorgeous.

that's why i kept putting it away!!!--couldn't stand to look at it & it didn't seem to get better but i wanted to finish it. as i was sewing the last few seams together i was really hoping i would like it but YUK! i guess this is another possible candidate for the shelter!

I think it is absolutely beautiful. I love all the colours and patterns.

It is beautiful. Sometimes when I work on something too much or too long, it gets to be yuck whenever I look at it. So I put it away for awhile and then open it back up and finish whatever it needs. It gives you a new perspective. Maybe you'll try it and it'll help!

Put 2 borders around it, one small and one larger. It would tone it down if you think it is to busy.

I love it - I think you should send it to a loving home - MINE!! My son loves it too - "it's groovy and better than yours Mum" is his opinion!

I like it, I think you just need a break from it! You will think differently when you have not seen it for a while, I do this with my paintings and it works!

I think its great!!! I don't know if you meant to do it or not, but, my eyes look all over the quilt. Actually very pleasing to me. I would love to be able to do a scrappy!!! Making bags of HST's and 1.5" square to do a postage size. One day!! :lol: :lol:

TRUST ME! You might not care about it, but guaranteed! There is someone out there who is going to think it is the most wonderful thing they have ever seen.
I will be curious to see what you didn't like about it (always curious) - - I'll bet for every one who empathizes with what you don't like, there are ten quilters on here that will tell that that is exactly what attracts them to it.
Are you considering doing a color study with this pattern and see if you can't create something more to your tastes? <wave>

Do I think it's "beautiful"? No, I don't.

I don't think it's "pretty", either.

I do think it's interesting, colorful, and fun to look at.

I like it! A lot of work and love went into making it. I love how all the colors blend together. Reminds me a little of all the different personalities of people all coming together for a single purpose.

Looks perfect for a TV room reclining chair. I wouldn't mind having it myself. :thumbup:

I really am not a fan of scrappy at all. i think i have to much OCD. lol BUT with that being said, I really love your quilt! I think it is the wonkiness of it all that excites me.
