I tried to make this without a pattern. I thought looking at your wonderful pictures I could figure it out. WRONG!!! My joint in the center is lumpy. There must be some secret to joining eight bias points. Also the smaller triangle was hard to judge for size. Guess I'll have to splurge and buy the pattern. Your colors are fantastic.
