The point of a crazy quilt block is that it is 'crazy'. Your block looks great. The only difficulty you may have is when you have seams to close to a corner (the upper right red piece). It can cause a bit of bulk. But, other than that - go for it!

Looks great, you can start with a small square and go around it, or you can start with rectangle,do the same or start with any shape you can come up with and go round and round til you fill up block. There really is no rhyme or reason to Crazy Quilting, great way to get rid of scraps. Also you might try strip quilting blocks. Enjoy and have fun.
