Love it, I'll have to try one of those - another to put on my "Roundtoit List"

What a great idea. I'll have to try that.

Thank you :) I would give you the pattern but there isn't one. It's just totally winging it--sewing scraps in random directions and watching it come to life and then trimming down to the size square you like ;)

I'll post pictures when I get some more of it done :) If ya'll have tried this yet I'd love to see it!

We must be twins separated at birth !! I feel the same way. Love scrappy, but I think they are so much more attractive and "orderly" this way. I've made many lap quilts using these types of blocks. Am I compulsive or what !!!!

I've not seen this type of block, so I have to ask. Do you top stitch the pieces and do raw edges show or does each little piece have seams? You can tell I'm pretty new at the different processes of making quilts.

The concept is really good and I love your execution of it. I'm saving the pic to my "make this" ideas file. Now I just need to make more scraps!

Each one has a seam...I just sewed them together on the sewing machine in random directions, some overlapped more than others and there was some trimming involved but it's pretty easy and stress-free sewing :)
