I've made some like that for pot holders. I call them my scrappy cabins, because I start with a square in the center and then just work my way out. Scrappys are my favorites! Yours are adorable!

I am also busy with a crumb quilt - and you are right - it is addictive! I am doing quilt as you go so that I don't end up with a huge, unmanageable quilt to squeeze through that little space on my sewing machine!

Those look wonderful and am betting the finished quilt will look awesome.
