I just love this quilt! It's awesome that you had so much fun making it--each step of the way. I'm so glad you shared it.

I have an unbelieveable amount of scraps--17 years of quilting and haven't used or tossed any... so many crumb squares are in my future.

sewingladydi 09-01-2011 04:52 PM

I love not only your quilt, but your whimsy. I know you are way too young, but I wish I had known you "back in the day".

#1piecemaker 09-02-2011 04:33 AM

You did a wonderful job!! I have got to do one of these.

cjaye44 09-02-2011 04:47 AM

That's one of the neatest scrap quilts I've seen

Murphy1 09-02-2011 04:52 AM

I love how you worked on each block starting with an interesting piece in the middle. Then you went a step further by quilting each block in a special way. Then you have this wonderful scrappy back. You inspire so many with what you have shared. I love using my scraps and besides the spider web quilt that is taking many, I now have another project to start. Thanks again for sharing.

bamamama 09-02-2011 04:56 AM

This is such an awesome, colorful quilt, and what a clever use of fabric scraps!

munchkinmama 09-02-2011 06:13 AM

Fabulous job. The quilting really brought out the greatness of it. I bow to the queen of crumbs.

Iraxy 09-02-2011 06:21 AM

This is a beautiful and well thought out quilt. I have been looking into crumb quilts to diminish my ever growing stash of pieces and strips but most of the crumb quilts look like somebody lost their lunch on the bed, and I didn't have any real good ideas as to what to do. Now I do! Thanks.

Homemother 09-02-2011 06:26 AM

Wow!!! This is definitely one of a kind!!! Just love it!!!

Kathcart 09-02-2011 06:49 AM

The way you treated each block as an individual quilt and the special quilting you did really make this a fun and special quilt. I enjoyed looking at it.

sewnsewer2 09-02-2011 06:51 AM

How cool and a good way to use those scraps too!

hudgoddess 09-02-2011 08:32 AM

Wow. How big is your scrap box now? Did you make a dent?

pal 09-02-2011 08:35 AM

IMHO this is what quilting is really about. Fun, relaxing, creative, joyful, stress-free and let the chips fall where they may. It's a definite "I can handle whatever comes along" quilt.

Wonderful work!!!!!!!!

gramquilter2 09-02-2011 08:37 AM
