It's great!

muddlingabout 10-14-2011 07:22 PM

Like this a LOT! The sashing adds panache!

ruthie 10-14-2011 07:24 PM

Nice job. I really like the sashing between the blocks. It makes them stand out more. It's very pretty.

I love it, and I think you may have inspired me to work on one out of my scraps bag!

HomespunHandmaiden 10-14-2011 08:11 PM

FUN! Love it! :D

Veronica 10-14-2011 08:13 PM

Looks comfy.

nanabirdmo 10-15-2011 02:00 AM

thank you so much for all of your compliments. sometimes my scrap bin gets away from me and I can't think of a way to use them. then I remind myself that if it doesn't work I've lost nothing but some scraps and the time that I have taken to learn something new was well spent. LOL

girlsfour 10-15-2011 03:16 AM

I'd hit the 'like' button if there was one!

Conartist1945 10-15-2011 03:16 AM

catladyquilts 10-15-2011 04:27 AM

what fun

TexasSunshine 10-15-2011 04:38 AM

Love your scrappy quilt, you could let loose and do anything with it, flannel, cotton or homespun. I am planning one of them.

threadsdmr 10-15-2011 04:40 AM

Oh, I love it! Great job!

Lisa Marie 10-15-2011 05:02 AM

Wine Woman 10-15-2011 05:23 AM

Your quilt is so nice! I just love the way they turn out. I think this will be on the top of my list for my next quilts.

Yooper32 10-15-2011 05:31 AM

Very nice scrappy you've done. I have one in the works, I just do one every once in a while when I am frustrated at whatever quilt I am working on, and on, and on. You actually finished one and I think it will serve you well for years to come.

Yooper32 10-15-2011 05:33 AM

What I meant was one square, not one quilt. He he

I agree. My crumb quilts always look crummy...think I should have used solid color sashings to calm them as you did. always learn so much on this board!

I love your crumb quilt; looks so warm and comfy.

Friendly Quilter 10-15-2011 06:23 AM

It looks Great! You did a great job.

sewnbug 10-15-2011 06:31 AM

Very pretty. I love crumb blocks. I have a large stack of them at all times waiting to be put together. Those are my mindless sewing when I need to de-stress.

Great quilt. I love tied quilts, they remind me of the ones people had years ago. It's a quilt you aren't afraid to use and it is still very attractive. It has charm.

cavmom 10-15-2011 10:34 AM

This type of quilt is the best in my opinion. I love the snuggly, soft ones. :-)

sherrill 10-15-2011 12:38 PM

I have never sashed a ''crumb'quilt.I call it a crazy quilt as my Grammie, did,she never sashed them but I sure like the looks of yours. I love sashing as it set the quilt blocks off nicely.

Sunnye 10-15-2011 12:42 PM

I really like that! It's beautiful.
