Nana....I came back to see your picture of the quilt....when attaching the blocks did you just do in the ditch and are you or can you add embellishment to this quilt...hmmm maybe not I guess it would take away from the whole idea of the quilt crummy lol.....thx ever so much again.....I found the directions its a whole lot like crazy quilting from what I can see....Trish

Anyway I sashed with a dark color to sort of calm it down and tied rather than quilted. It is a true utility quilt. I would take it on a picnic or to the beach. But not a quilt show. It sure is snuggley warm on these cool fall evenings. A lot of fun to make.
