Cupcake quilt

It took me about 15 hours to make this whole thing from start to finish. I only did stitch in the ditch so the quilting was minimal.
DD loves cupcakes and she can't get enough. But wait!! She wants two more!!! And she bought the fabric!! I think I am going to turn into a cupcake by the time I am done. :O |

Very cute! 15 hours including all the appliqued blocks? I'm totally wow'd. My DGD would flip over this quilt. It would just make me want to bake and eat cupcakes. Very dangerous.

Did you applique all the cupcake parts? Wow- it would take me longer than that just to do the applique on the squares, much less all the sashing and putting it together. It's Very Cute, thank you for showing it. Great idea for my younger GD.

Isn't it nice to hear your work is appreciated when you make it for someone. I once had to make 3 of the same quilt as my sister insisted on one for her and her secretary. They were tulips - not cupcakes.
