This was suppose to be a Xmas present for Hubby's mom but fell behind when our daughter took ill...now that she is on the mend I can finish it...

VERY nice! That is a great border treatment, really adds to the medallion star center.

I used a double diamond ruler for the border...I wanted something that would showcase the star...I think it turned out pretty well...

I really like this a lot-everything about it! Creams and browns and blacks go in almost any decor. The border decor really adds to the star.
