I made a tablerunner like that for my sister. I called it the runner from H.... So I know exactly what your talking about. LOL

I'm not sure which I like the most, your gorgeous tablecloth (both sides) or your really entertaining story of making it and the first one!

Thanks for a wonderful post.

Your quilt is fabulous. How happy your Aunt will be!!! I made a tiny table cover one time that was two quilts so it could be reversed. I loved making it. I just quilted an overall design on it and since it was so small I had no problems. For all of my quilting I use Hobbs Polyester batting because it doesn't make so many wrinkles when washed and then I do iron them, too. I love Hobbs Polyester and you can get it from Connecting Threads on sale right now and it is not at all expensive. Some people like the wrinkled old fashioned look, but not me. I simply love your quilt and your story is so entertaining. Thank you for sharing.

I am so sorry you had so much trouble. But your story about it--:D:D:D. I'm in the office now and can't laugh out loud.

I feel your pain and at the sametime what a laugh I had. I thought I was the only one who had days like that.

Great finish.

This is the funniest most heartwarming story I have heard in a long time. So glad you got away with your sense of humor intact. BTW, love the tablecloth. :)

OMGsh!!! I had a difficult time seeing your lovely pictures
after reading your hilarious post! Laughed so hard my eyes filled with tears!~
The quilt came out wonderful and I hope you recover quickly. LOL

Before I got to the end of your post, I'm thinking, I should pm her and send her some XANAX. Made me think about a friend (rest her soul), she wouldn't have gotten as far as you did. She had absolutely no patience. She would have taken it behind the barn (as she once did) and put some buckshot into it. It looks gorgeous. Love the colors.

You are on top of it

It's just the cat's meow! And I DO believe that you won't make another one...until the next time!!
:wave::wave::p :D :D

You are brave. The table cloth looks great - both sides! Maybe you qualify for the "Straight Pin of Valor" after going through all that trouble! :)

PS - I hope you scotch guarded it!

The table cloth is beautiful, but I have to say, I love the way you tell a story! As I'm reading, knowing all the trouble you had making it, I still had a big smile on my face!
