great job! even better that you were able to use up some scraps! What size are your blocks and what size will your finished quilt be? Thanks for sharing :)
|
What beautiful scraps you have! It is gorgeous.
|
very nice quilt
|
REally pretty. I love the colors you choose.
|
I LOVE it! I don't usually think of using white with darker logs, but it absolutely sparks this quilt up a notch. I'm interested in block and log size and overall quilt size.... Oh well, please just tell us all about it!!!! Thanks for posting.

That quilt dances, doesn't it ?
Lovely, and bright and a delight to look at. Mary |
Absolutely gorgeous, and the white makes it all pop

Very nice.

Amazing!!!!

I did the blocks on my janome embroidery machine...digitized it( Jef format) so it was like quilt as you go( no batting) or flip and sew. It made all the seams more uniform . I sewed the strips on "no show mesh stabilizer" and squared them to 8 1/2 inch blocks... seam allowance 1/2 inch. Quilt is 12 blocks by 8 blocks, so without borders it is 96 by 64.. I think it will be petty close to king size with borders added. I am debating quilting on emb machine or longarm.

I love it, that is stunning.

I love your scrappy log cabin! Makes me want to set every thing else aside & dig into the scraps. The white seems so stark on its own but gives your quilt such great Glow. Wonderful job!
|
Absolutely love it! Well done!

It's a beautiful log cabin quilt. I haven't tried that one yet - but it is now on my "bucket list".
|
Beautifully done.

Very pretty !!!

OK I have both Embird and EQ Stitch. Can I use either of these to digitize something like this? I haven't tried to do my own digitizing yet except for names that I have put on things. And Embird does that for me. And if I decide to try to digitize it .....is it hard to figure out? I started learning the digitizing on Embird but didn't get very far. I needed a project to do not just the practice designs in the instructions. This might give me incentive to continue learning it.
