Also, all the curves were cut freehand, then sewn. Very scary the first time, but really liberating! To make the blocks, I made long pieces, like the border, then cut them into smaller segments and put them around the center square, in a log cabin fashion. It was actually not hard. |
Oh pretty quilt! This is a good example of why a person should take a class. It gives you the skills to make something out of the box.

I love curves! Yours are just fabulous!
If a local group gave a class on curved piecing I would be all over it! Sadly our quilting group here in Huntsville is less than stellar and the stores in town don't really have many quilting classes either :( I love your quilt! |
