In looking closely at the quilt, and seeing where the seams are - you can pick out each section as it was sewn into a square. I think the 9 Patch was cut 6 times. Each of the squares was cut vertically (that would be 3 cuts) and each square was cut horizontally (3 cuts) so instead of 2 cuts, or 3 cuts, it is cut 6 times.
Anyone agree with me on this??? It would work well in nice be 5" or 6" squares. Looks like fun!
